Yes. Stories will not include: sexual content involving minors; graphic torture, gore, or gratuitous violence; content that sexualises real people; incest or bestiality; content that promotes, glorifies or facilitates violence, terrorism, or hatred toward individuals or groups; or any content that would facilitate illegal activity. Dark themes, moral complexity, violence, and mature content within those limits are all fair game — great fiction often goes to difficult places. These restrictions exist to protect readers and to ensure Storyspun remains a platform we're proud of.
You can reference historical figures and public figures as background context, but Storyspun cannot write stories that feature living private individuals as characters — even with their name changed. If you'd like a character inspired by someone in your life, describe their personality and role rather than naming them directly. Every story is written for you, not about someone else without their knowledge.
